in these stamps King Farouk I of Egypt appears with the pyramids or Sultan Hassan Mosque (in Cairo..) as background.
1)2) the first two stamps belong to the series of (7) "King Farouk I (1947/1951)"
Perf: 14 x 13.5 ( the last two values of this series have perf: 13.5 x 13)

3)4)5) the stamps belong to a series (18) that overprints stamps from the previous King Farouk I definitive series of 1937,1939,1944 and 1947( in these particular case we have "Overprint on 'King Farouk I (1947/1951)'") ; the overprints appear in Carmine, Green or Black and say "King of Egypt and the Sudan, 16th October 1951" in Arabic writing.

the 2nd and 4th stamps are damaged and have to be replaced , later...

Now I have a Russia Complete series 1991 "Folk Festivals" ; In my opinion , this is a spectacular series, so I will show the stamps individually for a better appreciation from the viewer.. it is a Festival of Colors and a joy to the eyes...
